I would just like to start off by saying thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog "A Girl's Journey on Dating as a Millennial!"
I decided to start this blog as I am a millennial who has entered the dating world for the first time in seven years. After talking with other singles, we have noticed that there have been many common bizarre experiences and I wanted to share these experiences with those who are just entering the dating world again.
A little bit about me and what has brought me to this point.
Since I was thirteen, I was in a relationship with the love my life. We were together for seven years and had made plans to move in together and to marry. Out of nowhere, a day after my twentieth birthday we broke up. Now, we had taken little breaks many times in our seven years together so I thought that this would just be short. It has been a year without him, and I just recently found out that he is engaged to marry another woman. I was absolutely devastated, I could not understand what had happened and how he could move on so easily.
After all of the tears had been let out, I decided that it was time to put myself back out there and try dating again. I missed that feeling of having that one person who was there for you no matter what, on not only a physical level, but an emotional level as well. To my surprise, dating was a lot harder than I thought it would be. We are the generation of technology, where you can set up an online profile or download an app to help you find love. As I go on dates and I get closer to finding my Mr. Right again, I would like to share my experiences with you as well as give tips on how to find your Mr. or Mrs. Right.
